Registration / transfer .IT domain names

An .IT domain can be registered from citizens, authorities, associations or companies resident in European Union, without limits also for citizens or associations without VAT number. For the registration, after service has been ordered, is required the compilation of a letter, called LAR (Lettera Assunzione Responsabilità) available only in Italian language, that in guarantees to the Registration Italian Authority the correct usage for the domain name. Following are available 2 different basic letters different if organizzation/person have or not VAT number:

• Private persons without VAT number
• Other organizzations with VAT number

To avoid mistakes of compilation we suggest usage of the tool into control panel (Italian language only) available in web domains page, after you have dated and signed the document simply send this to the Registration Authority:

Transfer procedure and maintainer change for .IT domain names

For .IT domain name transfers will be sufficient, after service has been ordered, to send a fax to the Registro del ccTLD ".it", in which notified the request of change service provider/maintainer. This declaration must be compiled and signed from admin-c person recorded for specific domain.
The template letter can be downloaded below:

• Transfer for private persons without VAT number
• Transfer for other organizzations with VAT number

Our identification code to the Registro del ccTLD ".it", is SUNERG-MNT.
The fax to use exclusively for the transfer procedures of maintainer is the + 39 050 570230, later on to the reception of this notification, the Registro del ccTLD ".it", perform changes in the database for the domain.

Registration / transfer generic domain names

For the registration / transfer of the International domain names (.biz, .info, .com, .net, .org) are not required special requisites. Minimum registration for .biz and .info domain names is two years.

Registration / transfer country code domain names

Registrations for these domain names are at the moment available for more 200 ccTLD, entire TLD list is available in the price list page, some TLD for their registration or transfer, can require special requirements or particular registration procedures.
